Here we have two different performances of The Ursonate by Kurt Schwitters. This work is a vocal tone poem using German phonemes.
We mixed them so that each is heard exclusively on each ear. Mashed up with these performances is classic Musique Concrete.
Alex can’t remember who created the effects music part of this mashup. We want to say it’s a French composer. Alex accessed these recordings while researching Musique Concrete and early synthesizer music at the Michigan State sound library in 1995.

Venus & Star 4/13 Space-Lounge
Venus‘s “Last Thursdays” SPACE-LOUNGE DJ night @ Club Underground featured guest personality and first time DJ Emily Star last thursday at Club Underground in North East Minneapolis.
It was a family reunion of sorts. Some of Venus‘s fans requested that the evening be turned into a podcast so they invited Alex Velocity from BaNGWAvE to make that happen.
On top of that the crowd was treated to the live video genus of Victor Mercy and Mach Fox. The shots were poured long and we closed the bar.
This podcast is a wacky composite of both DJs edited by BaNGWAvE with much love. While we have your attention check out this recent article about Venus and the IRS.
